I grew up in San Bernardino with a great love for basketball. I started playing at the age 4.  I continued to play basketball until I had to move from San Bernardino to Menifee, early freshman year.  After moving, I decided that I wanted to do something new and different so I tried out for my high school's freshman softball team and I made the team.  Nine months after moving to Menifee, I transferred to Perris High School. Not wanting to stop exploring options, I tried out for the hip-hop dance team at Perris High School and also made the team. That being the first time I ever danced, started me on the path I am on today, dancing at UCSB.

I am the type of person who loves to help others and to try new things. As I entered college, I've ran into people who were willing to help me, and I soon began to realize that I do not have to go through life believing that I am alone and can't rely on people. I want to become a social worker to help those in need, such as those placed in abandoned and abusive homes. I would like to place them in homes with people who will actually care for them and love them.

I am Kali Neal and I do believe in making my goal come true.
